"Trade Cards" is a generic term for the small colorful and attractive advertising cards issued by most merchants and manufacturers in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Very highly collectible, they may be postcard sized, many smaller, many a bit larger. Often have a colorful illustration on the front with advertising printing on the reverse, or sometimes blank-backed. They may be die cut to some shape. In this section we offer a variety of trade cards, many from the late 1800s.
